1Inspections

Open Inspections in the sidebar. It lists every delivered walkthrough and photo sync, grouped by day, with how many findings each has and whether it was Reviewed. Click a row to open its report. Walkthroughs still being analyzed sit at the top under In progress, marked Analyzing.

A new walkthrough stays under In progress until its report is ready. Our team reviews every report before it is delivered; then it moves into the list. A report with findings also goes into Review, and RapidEye sends the report email or Slack post (see when RapidEye notifies you). A report with no findings is signed off for you and sends no message of its own.

Who can do this: everyone on your account.

1.1Choosing a date range

The pills set the range: MTD (this month so far, the default), Last Month, YTD, Last 30d and Last 7d. For any other range, set the two dates next to them. The same controls are on Review and Analytics.

1.2Searching and filtering

Type in Search by property... to narrow the list to one home. The pills show All, Video only, Photo only or Has findings. If nothing matches, the page reads No inspections match; widen the date range or clear the search.

2Findings

Open Findings to see every issue RapidEye flagged in the last 60 days, grouped by the day the walkthrough was recorded. The line under the title counts this month's findings. For older findings, open the report from Inspections. Each row shows the finding, its severity (Critical, Moderate or Minor), the home, and whether it came from a video or photos. A check mark with Reviewed and a date means the report was signed off; Report commented means someone commented on it.

Use Search findings… to search, and All sources, Video or Photos to filter. Click a finding to open its report, scrolled to that finding.

3Review

Review is where your team signs off delivered reports. The sidebar shows how many are waiting. The top of the page counts reports Awaiting review in this range and Reviewed, and shows your Top reviewers.

Who can do this: everyone on your account can review and sign off reports.

3.1Action required

Action required lists every report still waiting for sign-off, whatever the date range. Each row reads Needs review. Press Show more to see further down a long backlog. Click a row to open the report and sign it off (see 5).

3.2The review timeline

Below it, the timeline lists every report delivered in the chosen range, grouped by the day it was recorded. Filter it with All statuses, Needs review or Reviewed, and by reviewer. Reviewed rows say who signed them off and how many tasks were created.

4Acting on findings

Each finding in a report has a card with its photo, what RapidEye saw, and a suggested action. Under it are three ways to record what your team decided.

Who can do this: everyone on your account.

4.1Tagging a finding

Click a tag to sort the finding: No action, Needs cleaning, Wear & tear, Misidentified, Different view or Flagged. Click it again to remove it. The first tag you pick also fills in a short comment, such as Needs cleaning before the next guest, which you can edit or send as it is.

4.2Comments

Type in Add a comment… and press Comment, or ⌘+Enter. Your own comments have edit and delete buttons.

4.3Creating a task in your ops software

For an inspection that came from your ops software, the card has a button to create a task there. It is labelled with the software's name.

  1. Press the create task button on the finding.A form opens with the home filled in.
  2. Check the Title and Description. The finding's photo is attached.
  3. Choose the Department (Maintenance, Housekeeping or Inspection), the Priority (Low, Medium, High or Urgent), a Due Date and an Assignee. If you already made a task from this report, the Task list lets you add the finding to it instead.
  4. Press Create Task, or Add to Task. The card shows the task's title and Task created in your software. Click the arrow to open it there, or the cross to remove the link.

The report email and Slack post can also open a task straight from a finding (see notifications).

5Signing off a report

At the bottom of a report with findings, a bar shows how many findings are actioned: a finding counts once it has a tag, a comment or a task. Signing off does not need all of them actioned.

  1. Work through the findings (see 4).
  2. Press Mark as reviewed. The bar reads Reviewed and the date. The report leaves Action required and the sidebar count drops.

A report with no findings is signed off for you, so it never waits in the queue.
