Walkthrough reports on every OwnerRez booking
A cleaner records a short walkthrough video of the home on their phone. RapidEye turns it into a report and writes the result onto the OwnerRez booking for the stay that just checked out.
What you see in OwnerRezOverview
After a stay checks out, the cleaner walks the home with their phone and records a short video. RapidEye turns that walkthrough into a report: damage, cleaning issues, and any checklist steps the cleaner missed. It matches the report to the stay that just checked out and writes the result onto that booking in OwnerRez, so the answer to "how did the home look after this guest?" sits on the booking itself.
How to connect OwnerRez to RapidEye
- Start the connection in RapidEye. Go to Settings › Integrations › OwnerRez and click Connect OwnerRez. New to RapidEye? Pick OwnerRez at the "Where do you manage your homes?" step of sign-up. Only a workspace owner or admin can connect.
- Approve RapidEye on OwnerRez's page. OwnerRez opens its own page to authorize RapidEye. Approve it and you come straight back to RapidEye.
- Let it load. Your properties import on their own, and your bookings are read within a minute or two.
- Give your cleaners the link. Add the recording link field to the checkout message your cleaners already get. The next section explains how.
How cleaners get the recording link
Each home has one recording link, and it never changes. RapidEye writes it into that property's RapidEye recording link custom field in OwnerRez, so the checkout message your managers already send cleaners can carry it. Add the field's code to that message once and every cleaner gets the right home's link. RapidEye shows the exact code to use in Settings › Integrations › OwnerRez.
The same settings page lists every home's link and its QR code, if you would rather send a link once or print the QR code and leave it in the home.
The cleaner picks nothing. A walkthrough recorded on a home's link is matched to the latest checkout at that home on or before that day.
What you see in OwnerRez
RapidEye adds two custom fields to your OwnerRez account: one on each property, one on each booking.
- Name
- RapidEye recording link
- Holds
- That home's permanent recording link
- Use it in
- The checkout message your cleaners already get
- Name
- RapidEye inspection
- First
- "Walkthrough received" and the time, as soon as the video is in
- Then
- The issue counts by category, any missed checklist steps, and a link to the full report
Both are OwnerRez custom fields, so both work wherever OwnerRez offers field codes.
What RapidEye changes in OwnerRez
RapidEye writes those two fields and nothing else. It never changes a booking's notes, dates, charges, guests or messages.
Owner stays
Owner stays count like guest stays: RapidEye expects a walkthrough after each one. To stop that, switch off "Expect walkthroughs after owner stays" in Settings › Integrations › OwnerRez.
Disconnecting
Go to Settings › Integrations › OwnerRez and click Disconnect. RapidEye stops reading your OwnerRez account, clears both fields it wrote, and removes its access. Your homes, their recording links and your reports stay in RapidEye.
OwnerRez integration FAQ
Does RapidEye integrate with OwnerRez?
Yes. A cleaner records a short walkthrough video of the home on their phone. RapidEye turns it into a report covering damage, cleaning issues and missed checklist steps, matches it to the stay that just checked out, and writes the result onto that OwnerRez booking.
How do my cleaners get the recording link?
Each home has one permanent recording link. RapidEye writes it into the property's "RapidEye recording link" custom field in OwnerRez, so the checkout message you already send your cleaners can carry it: add the field code once, and RapidEye shows you the exact code in Settings › Integrations › OwnerRez. The links and their QR codes are also on that page, to send once or to print and leave in the home.
Does the cleaner have to pick the booking?
No. The cleaner picks nothing. The walkthrough is matched to the latest checkout at that home on or before the day it was recorded.
What does RapidEye change in OwnerRez?
Two custom fields and nothing else: the property field "RapidEye recording link" and the booking field "RapidEye inspection". RapidEye never changes a booking's notes, dates, charges, guests or messages.
Do owner stays get a walkthrough too?
Yes, by default. Owner stays count like guest stays unless you switch off "Expect walkthroughs after owner stays" in Settings › Integrations › OwnerRez.
What happens if I disconnect OwnerRez?
RapidEye stops reading your OwnerRez account, clears both fields it wrote, and removes its access. Your homes, their recording links and your reports stay in RapidEye.
