Built by researchers, for operators
RapidEye is the inspection layer for property operations. We read the turnover photos and walkthrough videos your teams already capture and surface the damage, missing items, and quality issues that slip past manual review, so condition gets verified on every property instead of spot-checked when someone has a spare moment.
Operations don't break because operators stop caring. They break because nobody can review everything. RapidEye fixes that layer.
Our Mission
We believe property condition should be something you can measure, not something you hope held up after checkout.
Operators already capture more documentation than any human can review, and that gap only widens as a portfolio grows. Damage slips through, and the first anyone hears of it is a guest review or a chargeback.
Our mission is to remove the review bottleneck entirely, so every turnover gets inspected automatically. Quality stops slipping as you scale. Damage gets caught before the next guest. Cleaner accountability becomes a number instead of a hunch.
Photos are only the start. As capture moves to video walkthroughs and spatial scans, inspection becomes a standard layer in every operation, the same way booking and messaging did before it.
Because the future of short-term rentals isn't just bigger portfolios. It's properties that stay in the condition guests were promised.
Founders
Rohan leads RapidEye's technology. His Carnegie Mellon research spans computer vision, spatial AI, and robotics, the foundation the detection engine is built on.
Sam leads product and go-to-market. His Carnegie Mellon research spans vision-language models, human-computer interaction, and product design, and he spends his time with operators making sure RapidEye fits how turnover teams already work.
Both founders are Carnegie Mellon researchers, and the team holds multiple patents in AI inspection technology, the core IP RapidEye is built on.
